Signing to Sire Records and working with producer Tommy Erdelyi (the Ramones' Tommy Ramone) gave the Minneapolis wrecking crew their biggest platform yet, and they responded with a set that balanced Paul Westerberg's gift for bar-room anthems against genuine tenderness. "Left of the Dial" became a love letter to college radio, the very stations that had carried the band's reputation city by city before the mainstream caught on.
Tim - The Replacements / Tim is the fourth studio album by American alternative rock band The Replacements. It was originally released in September 1985.
