Two Mexican guitarists who honed their chops busking on Grafton Street in Dublin before word spread fast enough to land them festival stages worldwide, Rodrigo y Gabriela built their sound at the intersection of flamenco, metal, and acoustic fingerstyle in a way that felt genuinely unlike anything else happening in the mid-2000s. The Re-Foc sessions captured them before any of that momentum hit, making this anniversary package as much a document of the journey as a celebration of where it led.
This 20th anniversary limited 2xLP edition includes a new vinyl master of the original album plus the band's previously unreleased 2002 debut recording Re-Foc on vinyl for the first time.
Pressed on "jade" and "citrus" colored eco-wax vinyl and includes bonus poster. Rodrigo y Gabriela's breakthrough self-titled album was released in 2006 and has sold over 1 Million copies worldwide!
