Rick Wakeman – Return To The Red Planet (LP Vinyl)

Keyboard wizardry and cosmic ambition have always been Rick Wakeman's calling cards, and this return to the Mars-themed territory he first explored on "Journey to the Centre of the Earth" finds him still chasing the outer edges of what synthesizers and orchestration can conjure together. A prog legend whose work with Yes and a string of theatrical solo albums made him one of the architects of symphonic rock, Wakeman remains one of the few artists who can make an instrumental concept album feel genuinely cinematic.
