Quiet Riot helped drag heavy metal onto Top 40 radio in 1983, when "Cum On Feel the Noize" and "Bang Your Head (Metal Health)" turned *Metal Health* into the first heavy metal album to debut at number one on the Billboard 200. This compilation pulls from across their catalog, making it a solid entry point for anyone tracing the roots of arena metal and the Sunset Strip scene that followed in their wake.
