Mom Jeans' Puppy Love gets a fresh pressing on omelette coloured vinyl, a suitably breakfast-flavoured way to revisit one of emo's friendliest records.

Mom Jeans are an effortlessly likeable Berkeley, California quartet who proudly embrace sad punk and emo. They are known for stream-of-consciousness lyrics and energetic live shows that invite audiences to shred their worries and bounce along. Trading the sappy for the heartfelt and the melodramatic for the truthful, they've built a brand of emo that is self-aware without being self-indulgent.

Released in 2018, Puppy Love follows 2016's Best Buds with more of that sweet noise, recorded by Ryan Ellery and mastered by James Trevascus. Ten tracks go from the scrappy charm of Sponsor Me Tape to the warm, wistful pull of Glamorous, with the gloriously named Jon Bong Jovi and Now This Is Podracing proving the band's sense of humour is fully intact.
