The Merry Marvel Marching Society was Marvel Comics' official fan club of the 1960s, a grassroots community that brought together the earliest generation of superhero devotees around characters like Spider-Man, the Fantastic Four, and Captain America. This translucent blue 7" pressing of the club's 1966 theme song is pure pop-culture archaeology, a artifact from the moment comic book fandom first organized itself into something that looked a lot like a movement.
