Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein, the Austin-based synth duo who also serve as core members of S U R F S U R F, built the sonic architecture of one of television's most beloved series from the ground up, drawing on the analog synthesizer vocabulary of Tangerine Dream, John Carpenter, and Giorgio Moroder without ever tipping into imitation. Seventeen LPs pressed on Vecna's Gate colored vinyl is a monument to that work, the kind of package that rewards the collector who understands a great score as its own complete artistic statement.
