Gate – Sigil (Limited Edition, Digipak CD)

Gate is the experimental project of Mick Turner, the Australian guitarist best known as a founding member of Dirty Three. Where that band channels raw emotional weight through violin-driven post-rock, Gate operates in stranger, quieter territory, built from loops, drones, and patient accumulation. Sigil sits comfortably outside any jam band canon, but for listeners who follow sound to its edges, Turner's solo work rewards the same deep listening that makes a great extended improvisation worth chasing.
