The Dukes of Stratosphere was the alter ego project of XTC, the legendary English rock band, who released two whimsical albums in the 1980s that playfully homaged the progressive rock and pop sounds of the 1970s. Led by Andy Partridge and Colin Moulding, this side project showcased the band's creative versatility and humorous approach to music-making, earning a devoted cult following among fans. The Dukes' imaginative, tongue-in-cheek approach to rock music demonstrated why XTC remained one of the most innovative and entertaining acts of their era.
