Wild Feathers

The Wild Feathers are an American country rock band that emerged from Nashville, Tennessee in 2010, bringing together three seasoned musicians — Ricky Young, Joel King, and Taylor Burns — each with experience as lead singers in previous bands. The trio's collaborative approach to songwriting and performance laid the foundation for a distinctive sound that blends country and rock sensibilities. Drummer Ben Dumas joined the ranks following the band's debut album in 2013, solidifying their live and studio presence, while multi-instrumentalist Brett Moore (formerly of Apache Relay) began touring with the group in 2015 and contributed to their recording sessions starting in 2018.
Since their formation, The Wild Feathers have built a catalog of studio albums that showcase their evolution as songwriters and performers. Their second studio album, Lonely Is a Lifetime, arrived in March 2016, followed by their third full-length effort, Greetings from the Neon Frontier, which dropped in June 2018. The latter project marked the first recording to feature Brett Moore as an official contributor, adding new dimensions to the band's sonic palette and reinforcing their commitment to collaborative musicianship.
Throughout their career, The Wild Feathers have established themselves as a vital force in the contemporary country rock landscape, earning recognition for their authentic approach to genre-blending and their dynamic live performances. Their journey from a Nashville-based trio to a robust five-piece ensemble reflects their dedication to growth and musical exploration, cementing their status as a notable act within the broader Americana and country rock communities.
