The Youngbloods were an American rock band formed in New York in 1965, best known for their 1967 hit "Get Together," a anthem of peace and unity that became iconic during the counterculture movement. The group's blend of folk, rock, and soul influences helped define the sound of the late 1960s, with their uplifting melodies and socially conscious lyrics resonating with audiences seeking positive change. Though they disbanded in the early 1970s, The Youngbloods' legacy as purveyors of feel-good, message-driven rock music continues to inspire fans of classic rock and vintage Americana.
