The Ex is a Dutch post-punk and experimental rock band formed in 1979, known for their politically charged lyrics and dynamic, genre-defying sound that blends punk energy with complex instrumentation. Over four decades, the band has maintained a fiercely independent ethos, collaborating with musicians from around the world and continuously evolving their avant-garde approach to rock music. Their influential catalog and uncompromising artistic vision have made them a cornerstone of the European underground music scene.
