Stray Kids

Stray Kids is a South Korean boy band formed by JYP Entertainment in 2017, consisting of eight members: Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N. Led by Bang Chan, who personally selected each member before the group's televised debut, Stray Kids distinguishes itself through its artist-driven approach to production. The band's primary production team, 3Racha — comprising Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han — spearheads the group's songwriting and recording efforts, with other members frequently contributing to their creative output. This collaborative ethos has become central to the group's identity since their official debut on March 25, 2018, with the EP I Am Not.
Following a series of successful releases including the I Am EP trilogy and the Clé trilogy, Stray Kids achieved significant international milestones. Their debut Japanese single "Top" topped the Oricon Singles Chart, making them the fourth foreign male artist to debut at the summit with their first Japanese single. The group's 2020 studio album Go Live became their first platinum-certified release, while its lead single "God's Menu" emerged as their signature track. Their trajectory accelerated dramatically after signing with Republic Records in 2022, with subsequent albums — including Oddinary, Maxident, 5-Star, Rock-Star, Ate, Hop, Karma, and Do It — all debuting atop the Billboard 200. Most recently, the band released This & That in 2026, cementing their historic run as the first act to achieve nine consecutive number-one debuts on the prestigious chart.
Stray Kids' cultural impact has extended far beyond music charts. The group has garnered recognition from Time's Next Generation Leaders list (2023) and Forbes Asia's 30 Under 30 (2025), while receiving South Korea's Prime Minister's Commendation for their contributions to the nation's pop culture. With over 40 million albums sold across Korean and Japanese releases and numerous accolades from prestigious award shows — including the MAMA Awards, Golden Disc Awards, and Billboard Music Awards — Stray Kids has established itself as one of K-pop's most commercially successful and critically acclaimed acts.
