Matching Mole was a British progressive rock band formed in 1972 by guitarist and keyboardist Robert Wyatt following his departure from Soft Machine. Known for their experimental fusion of rock, jazz, and avant-garde influences, the band released two critically acclaimed albums before disbanding in 1976. Their innovative sound and Wyatt's distinctive vocal style made them influential figures in the 1970s progressive rock scene.
