Manuel Göttsching is a German electronic music pioneer and guitarist best known as the founder and primary member of the influential krautrock band Ash Ra Tempel, which emerged from the Berlin experimental music scene in the 1970s. His groundbreaking solo work, particularly the 1981 album "E2-E4," revolutionized electronic music and ambient composition with its hypnotic, minimalist approach.
