Mance Lipscomb was a legendary Texas blues musician and singer-songwriter born in 1895 who became known for his fingerstyle guitar technique and authentic country blues sound. Discovered late in his career during the folk music revival of the 1960s, he recorded numerous albums that showcased his distinctive blend of blues, folk, and ragtime influences.
