Longpigs were a British alternative rock band formed in Sheffield in 1994, known for their distinctive blend of post-britpop rock and introspective lyrics. Led by vocalist Chas Smash and guitarist Richard Marklew, the band achieved critical acclaim and chart success in the mid-1990s with their debut album "The Sun Is Often Out." Though they disbanded in 1997, Longpigs have since reunited for performances and remain beloved by fans of 90s alternative rock.
