Keith Relf was a British rock vocalist and multi-instrumentalist best known as the lead singer of The Yardbirds, a pioneering blues-rock band of the 1960s that helped shape modern rock music. He later formed Renaissance, an early progressive rock band, and continued performing and recording until his death in 1976.
