Iron Reagan is an American crossover thrash supergroup from Richmond, Virginia, formed in 2012 by a collective of established musicians within the heavy music scene. The band brings together Municipal Waste vocalist Tony Foresta, Municipal Waste and Cannabis Corpse bassist Phil "LandPhil" Hall, former A.N.S. guitarist Mark Bronzino, former Darkest Hour drummer Ryan Parrish, and Hellbear bassist Paul Burnette. By combining the talents of these seasoned musicians, Iron Reagan has established itself as a formidable force in the crossover thrash genre, blending aggressive instrumentation with a rebellious artistic approach that pushes the boundaries of metal and punk fusion.
Since their inception, Iron Reagan has maintained a prolific output, releasing three full-length albums alongside two EPs and three split EPs. The band achieved significant mainstream recognition with their 2014 album The Tyranny of Will, which peaked at number 22 on the Billboard 200 — a notable achievement for a crossover thrash act. This commercial success solidified their reputation as one of the genre's most vital contemporary acts, demonstrating their ability to craft songs that resonate beyond the underground metal community.
After entering a hiatus in 2020, Iron Reagan announced their highly anticipated return in October 2025, featuring the band's original lineup intact. The reunion marks a significant moment for devoted fans who have eagerly awaited new material and live performances from the supergroup, promising to reignite their legacy as torchbearers of the crossover thrash sound.
