Gorillaz is a virtual band created in 1998 by musician Damon Albarn and illustrator Jamie Hewlett, blending hip-hop, rock, and electronic music with distinctive animated characters. Known for innovative albums like "Demon Days" and "Plastic Beach," the band has pushed creative boundaries through music videos, collaborations, and multimedia storytelling. Their genre-defying sound and rebellious spirit have made them influential figures in modern alternative and electronic music since their inception.
