Andy Frasco & The UN

Andy Frasco & The U.N. are a Los Angeles-based genre-blending rock band that has been pushing creative boundaries since their formation in 2007. Led by Andrew Frasco on lead vocals and keys, the seven-piece ensemble features Sam Kelly on saxophone, Mike Gantzer on guitar and vocals, drummer Andee "Beats" Avila, bassist Floyd Kellogg, fiddle player Allie Kral, and guitarist Andrew Cooney. True to their name, the band embraces a rotating cast of guest musicians that has historically included members from acts like Wild Adriatic, Philosophy of Soul, and the Kris Lager Band, creating a truly collaborative and democratic musical collective.
Over nearly two decades, Andy Frasco & The U.N. have built an impressive catalog of ten studio albums, beginning with Love, You're Just Too Expensive (2010) and continuing through Road Life Revival (2012), Half a Man (2014), Happy Bastards (2016), and Change of Pace (2019). The band's commitment to live performance was further demonstrated with the release of Songs From The Road (2017), recorded at Germany's Tucher Blues and Jazz Festival, and the acclaimed Live On the Rocks (2021), captured at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado. Most recently, they delivered L'Optimist (2023) and Growing Pains (2025), continuing their trajectory of fearless experimentation and communal spirit.
Andy Frasco & The U.N. have established themselves as ambassadors of an inclusive, cross-genre musical philosophy that celebrates collaboration and authenticity. Their willingness to incorporate diverse instrumental textures — from tuba to trumpet — and their documented international touring presence have cultivated a devoted following that values the band's refusal to be confined by conventional genre boundaries. With each release, they reinforce their position as modern rock music's most expansive collective vision.
